Course Summary
Welcome to Comfy Critters Pet Services. My name is Christin and I am a reward based certified dog trainer. I love creating connection between my human clients and their canine friends. You are looking to enroll into our Basic Good Manners Class. Your tuition of $215 includes 7 in-person classes along with 10 videos that I ask that you watch before the commencement of the first class. These videos cover various learning principles that will be applied in our upcoming in-person class. You will also learn about reward markers and have the opportunity to practice your timing skills. Upon enrolling in this course, you are securing your spot for 7 in-person sessions in Union City, Michigan. The classes will commence on Thursday, January 29th, 2026, and will continue for the next 6 Thursday evenings. Our first class on Thursday, January 29th will be owners only, So your dog companion will stay home that evening but will join you for the rest of the 6 weeks of class. Our first class is geared towards teaching pet parents how their dogs learn, to allow them to be comfortable with their surroundings before their dog joins them and to allow time for questions without distractions (So please bring a notepad, any questions you may have and a sense of humor). Once you have completed enrollment, we will contact you soon to email your registration paperwork to bring with you to the first class and to find out more about you and your dog. Please make sure that your contact information is completed upon enrollment. Each weekly class is designed to last for an hour, during which you will receive homework assignments to further practice your skills. The curriculum will focus on important skills such as focus exercises, impulse control, loose leash walking, position changes, stays, recall games and more, all incorporated in a fun, reward based approach. The first class will begin January 29th, 2026 , Please remember that this class is owners only, so kindly leave your dog companion at home this evening. I ask that once you have enrolled and have access to your videos, that you complete them before the first class.
